When a vehicle utilizes more than one form of onboard energy, to achieve propulsion, it is hybrid in nature.A hybrid vehicle will have a traditional internal-combustion engine and a fuel tank, also one or more electric motors and a battery pack. People are usually confused between hybrid cars and electric cars.  Hybrids are usually gasoline burning machines. They use their electric bits to collect and reuse energy, which goes to waste in a standard car. In theoretic terms, a diesel-electric hybrid would be a lot more fuel efficient. But hybrid systems and diesel engines both cost extra. Up to this point, installing both in the same vehicle has proven to be expensive. Not all hybrids possess the attributes in equal measure. When compared to others, some hybrids have more power. Hybrids usually employ either nickel metal hydrid batteries or lithium-ion batteries.
